Three Players Return Amid Injury Problems, Giving Villa Confidence Ahead of Hull City Away Trip

Aston Villa, who have lost their opening two Premier League matches, received good news ahead of their away game against Hull City on Saturday: three players will travel with the squad and could make appearances in the match.

Villa manager Unai Emery revealed the latest updates on four injured players at his pre-match press conference. Regarding young player John Manzambi, Emery said: "He is training with the team and his condition is gradually improving. But he still needs a few more days, and he may only return for Tuesday's Champions League match or the next game against Nottingham Forest." Meanwhile, Joao Gomes will miss the match due to suspension, while Brian Majo is expected to remain sidelined for a few more weeks.

Although the injury list remains lengthy, Villa confirmed that Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Leon Goretzka and Ibrahim Mbaye will all travel away with the team and are expected to make appearances in Saturday's match. For a Villa squad currently short on available players, this is undoubtedly a boost.
