FC Barcelona recently officially announced that, thanks to strong growth in commercial activities, the club's annual total revenue has surpassed €1 billion for the first time, setting a new record in its history. The official report showed that this achievement was mainly due to deep optimization of stadium operation efficiency. Notably, the milestone was reached despite limited home stadium capacity — with Camp Nou undergoing renovation, Barcelona had previously been forced to play at the Johan Cruyff Stadium and the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, with an average spectator capacity of only around 42,000.

The club's management emphasized that although the initial budget was based on having an operating capacity of more than 60,000 seats from the start of the season, actual current revenue has largely met expectations. Achieving such financial results during the stadium renovation transition period demonstrates the significant financial potential of the Camp Nou redevelopment project. Barcelona believes that once the new stadium is fully completed and operating at full capacity, the club's revenue scale will experience another round of growth in the coming years.
In addition to ticket and stadium operation revenue, steady growth in sponsorship contracts and record sales performance from the club's retail division (BLM) also played key roles. These impressive figures further demonstrate the strong global appeal of the Barcelona brand and its commercial monetization capabilities.
While making progress financially, Barcelona's performances on the pitch have also been encouraging. Under head coach Hansi Flick, Barcelona have won all three of their opening La Liga matches of the new season and currently lead the league table alone with nine points, achieving success in both sporting and financial areas.
