Crystal Palace Have No Intention of Letting Sarr Leave Despite Growing Saudi Interest

Crystal Palace do not intend to let Ismaïla Sarr leave. Despite growing interest from Saudi Pro League clubs, the club's position remains clear: they do not want to sell him.

Liverpool previously made a £50 million offer, but it was rejected.

The 28-year-old winger was heavily linked with an exit during the final stages of the summer transfer window, with Liverpool making a significant attempt to sign him. However, Crystal Palace rejected the £50 million offer and decided to keep the Senegal international.

Saudi clubs could now become another potential destination for Sarr, with the transfer window in the region remaining open until October. According to reports, several Saudi teams are monitoring his situation and could consider making offers.

However, Crystal Palace are currently not prepared to approve his departure. The club would only consider a transfer if they can bring in a suitable replacement, and with the European transfer window already closed, that would be difficult.

The manager still considers him an important player.

Although Sarr has not been included in the squad so far this season, he remains an important player under manager Pierre Sage. After Crystal Palace enjoyed a strong campaign in last season's Conference League, the club are competing on multiple fronts this season, and Sage is expected to rely on the forward once he returns.

Sarr's future has become uncertain because he was unable to complete his preferred move, with Liverpool believed to have been his ideal destination.
