Before the Match, Chivu Shows Humility: I Will Not Forget Allegri's Six Serie A Titles and Two Champions League Finals

According to TMW, Chivu praised Allegri before Inter's match against Napoli, saying he would not forget Allegri's six Serie A titles and two Champions League final appearances.

Chivu said: "In terms of what Allegri represents for Italian football, I have great respect for him. Many people often question what he represents, but I will not forget the six Serie A titles he won, his two Champions League final appearances, and the many trophies he has earned. As young coaches, we still have a lot to learn from him."

Chivu also spoke about Inter's defeats in the Milan derby during Allegri's time in charge of AC Milan: "There is no need to remind everyone that we did not win against him last year, that is a fact. We stood back up and continued moving toward great goals. This is a marathon, and some matches can be lost. At certain moments it can really hurt, but we did not lose sight of our objectives. Although we lost some matches, especially the ones against Allegri, we still achieved our goals."

Chivu said: "Both us and Napoli have the ambition to keep moving forward and prove that we can compete until the end."
