According to milanotoday.it, as AC Milan's Europa League league phase opener against Benfica at San Siro on Wednesday, September 16 approaches, Milan Prefect Claudio Sgaraglia has ordered a ban on the sale and supply of beer and spirits in some areas of Milan: the city center, Darsena, Navigli, Sempione and Corso Como will be affected from 8:00 to 24:00, while areas around the stadium will be affected from 12:00 to 24:00.

In addition, a new restriction has been introduced: "Takeaway sales using glass containers or cans are prohibited, whether from fixed premises or mobile vendors; however, as usual, customers can still consume normally through table service."
