Muani: I am not worried about goals, and I can coexist with Woltemade

In an interview with Corriere della Sera, Muani said he is not worried that goals have not arrived yet and believes he can coexist with Woltemade.

After failing to score in the first two rounds, Muani will continue his pursuit of a goal on Sunday night against AC Milan at Allianz Stadium. Spalletti praised the French forward after the Frosinone match and also said that some games require players to put the ball into the net.

“Spalletti is right,” Muani said. “When we create many chances, we have to turn them into goals: after that match, I myself knew that we had created excellent opportunities.”

Muani also explained why he returned to Juventus. He had previously scored 10 goals in 22 matches, making his first spell a successful experience: “The first time I played here was wonderful: my teammates, the coaching staff, the fans, everything was very good. Everything was perfect, and I felt like I was at home. More importantly, I want to come back and finish the work they started.”

The forward also said he is not too concerned about the goals that have not arrived yet: “I know how the outside world evaluates forwards, but I am not worried: the team atmosphere is very good, we are playing well, and we are still creating chances. The goals will come.”

Regarding whether he could play together with Woltemade, Muani believes it is completely possible: “If the coach decides to put both of us on the pitch, there will of course be no problem.”
