£73 Million Investment Falls Short! Sancho Leaves Manchester United as a Free Agent, Contacts Two Premier League Clubs

The future of 26-year-old Sancho remains uncertain. According to reports, he is negotiating with at least two Premier League clubs. This summer, his contract with Manchester United expired, and he left the club to become a free agent.

During his five seasons at Old Trafford, Sancho never managed to deliver the performances expected of him. He was later loaned back to Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea and Aston Villa, but none of the three clubs chose to make his move permanent. Chelsea initially had a mandatory purchase clause for the winger, but eventually opted to pay compensation and abandon the option.

After ending his loan spell at Villa Park, Sancho returned to Manchester United in the summer, but the Red Devils did not offer him a contract extension.

Transfer rumors surrounding Sancho have increased in recent weeks, but no deal has been finalized so far. According to Germany's Bild, the possibility of a return to Borussia Dortmund has still not been completely ruled out.

Dortmund summer signing Giannis Konstantelias suffered a serious cruciate ligament injury and will miss most of the season, leaving the club in urgent need of a replacement. Sancho has once again entered Dortmund's recruitment discussions. Reports say Sancho is willing to give up a signing bonus and accept a performance-based contract with a very high proportion of bonuses.

As a free agent, Dortmund would not need to pay a transfer fee, and media reports believe a Sancho return is a realistic possibility. During his two spells with Dortmund, Sancho made a total of 158 competitive appearances for the club.

According to TEAMtalk, in addition to the Bundesliga, Premier League clubs have also shown interest in Sancho. Two unnamed English clubs have made contact with him in recent days.

Meanwhile, clubs in Turkey, the Saudi league and the UAE are also exploring the possibility of signing him. The UAE club Arabian Falcons, coached by former Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey, has also expressed interest in Sancho.
