However, some players from certain clubs are already unable to participate and have effectively been ruled out for the season. For example, on September 9, Chongqing Tonglianglong Football Club announced that Li Zhenquan suffered an accidental injury during training with the national team's Asian Games squad and will miss the remaining four CSL matches this season. Dalian Yingbo's Maliele also went to Finland for surgery in August, and it will be difficult for him to return in time for the November 8 match.

Liaoning Tieren's foreign center-back Vagic had already left Shenyang in late August. He joined Liaoning Tieren in January of the 2026 season, making 12 appearances with 10 starts.
