One victory, a league-opening win over Genoa, and three defeats (Serie A losses to Inter Milan and Como, and yesterday's Champions League defeat to Arsenal): Napoli's start has not been ideal.
In the past 60 years, there has been only one other time when Napoli lost at least three of their first four matches of a season: the 2000/01 campaign, when they recorded one draw and three defeats. In addition, Napoli have not lost three consecutive matches in all competitions since December 2023.
