Umtiti said on the “After Foot RMC” program that Real Madrid will have a difficult season and criticized the team for lacking cohesion.
Umtiti said: “Real Madrid will have a difficult season. This team has many weaknesses. Sometimes there are huge gaps in midfield, and defending is almost impossible.”
He continued: “They only beat Inter because they were lucky. I don’t see a team with cohesion, there is nothing. Mbappe, Vinicius and Bellingham could have given each other a great deal of help.”
Umtiti concluded: “They can be outstanding. But they are too selfish with each other. If they are not willing to give up this selfishness, things will never work out. If I were the coach, I would call the three of them together and talk to them.”
