In the first round of the Champions League league phase, during the match between Paris Saint-Germain and Bratislava, Ferran Torres scored a hat-trick, completing the 10th Champions League hat-trick by a Spanish player.
Since the 1992/93 season, Ferran is the ninth Spanish player to score a hat-trick, with Soldado having previously scored two hat-tricks and Raul being the first Spanish player to score a Champions League hat-trick.
