Seedorf: Napoli can compete with Arsenal, Gunners face tougher away test

In his pre-match commentary for Prime Video, Seedorf said Napoli have the ability to compete with Arsenal, while the latter will find the away match more difficult.

Former midfielder Clarence Seedorf was part of the commentary team for that evening's Champions League match between Napoli and Arsenal. He said: “Playing in Naples has never been an easy task. The people there have always welcomed me with warmth and respect, and I have the same respect for them. Napoli are a great club, with a great history written by many excellent players. Over the past 15 years, they have also been one of the most competitive and continuously improving teams in Italy.”

Speaking about defending, Seedorf continued: “I don't think this will affect them. They have had one extra day of rest. Coaches all have their own routines to help them prepare with greater focus and accuracy. Napoli should not be distracted.
