According to Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte, Chapecoense forward Bolasie supports Richarlison joining Brazilian football, with the latter currently negotiating with Vasco.

“What he has done! What he has won… What a great player, a true fighter, someone who plays with his heart and always gives his all. To have played in the Premier League for so long and also represented those clubs! All of this already says everything. I am waiting.” Bolasie wrote in the caption of a video he posted on social media.
Bolasie and Richarlison were not teammates in English football, but the two built a friendship during their years in the Premier League. Both played for Everton, though at different times.
The Congolese player left Everton in 2018, when he was loaned to Aston Villa, while Richarlison joined Everton during the same period.
In the 2024 season, Bolasie was once Vasco’s nemesis. At the time, he was playing for Criciúma, the first club he represented in Brazilian football, and scored three goals and provided two assists against Vasco in the Brazilian top flight.
