Sports Director: Lazio's Total Value Is Around €400 Million, and That Is Not an Exaggeration

According to tmw, Lazio sporting director Fabiani spoke about the club's transfer plans and season targets after Diogo Leite's unveiling press conference.

Speaking about the free-agent market and the situations of Patric and Pellegrini, Fabiani said: "Regarding Patric and Pellegrini, I have already expressed my position. We still have two available spots, and the market never stops. As long as the club sees an opportunity to further strengthen the squad, we will evaluate it."

Asked whether Diogo Leite's arrival would affect the wage cost indicator, Fabiani said: "Every signing affects the indicator, but I want to reassure everyone that we are still able to make signings. We have always been increasing the asset value of Lazio players. Today I can say that Lazio's total value is around €400 million, and this is not an exaggeration. Fabiani added: "We are not signing players just for the sake of making signings, and we have also shown our ability to operate in the free-agent market and with players that other clubs did not rate highly. Regarding whether the team has narrowed the gap with other clubs and whether it can continue operating while maintaining financial balance, Fabiani said: "We still have to wait for further checks from the relevant authorities. I think all sides need to sit down and talk; we cannot continue with confrontation. Players need fans, and everyone should work together to bring football back onto the right track."
