Before Chelsea's League Cup third-round match against Leeds United, Welbeck gave an interview to Chelsea's official media, discussing his move to Chelsea this summer, his debut goal, and his expectations during his time at Stamford Bridge.

You scored your first goal for Chelsea in the previous round's 2-0 victory over Luton.
