Nadir suffered a serious knee injury during the second round of Ligue 1 against Monaco and is currently sidelined. Doctors recommended that he undergo surgery. However, Nadir chose not to have surgery for now, hoping to return to his teammates sooner.

People close to Nadir confirmed this decision last week and explained: "This is probably the safest choice, but it also means leaving the pitch and the team for several months. We made a different decision."

Nadir is currently recovering under a specialized rehabilitation plan and hopes to be available for the national derby against Paris Saint-Germain at the Vélodrome on September 20. This target is very difficult to achieve. According to La Provence, a return after the international break is more likely, and Nadir may return against Troyes on October 11.
