According to Calciomercato reports, despite currently lacking midfield options, Juventus will not return to the free-agent market for players.

The report states that the theoretically most attractive name is Brozovic. When Spalletti was coaching Inter Milan, he had already transformed him into a deep-lying playmaker, but there is also a squad registration issue: the Bianconeri have already used all 17 available slots for 'overage' players who were not trained within the Italian youth system.
Juventus prefer to solve the issue internally, with a focus on Augusto-Owusu, who was born in 2005. He has already been included in the squad list for the match against AC Milan, and is expected to receive more playing time going forward.
In midfield, besides him, there are also Douglas Luiz, Koopmeiners and Pape Sarr, with the latter still working to regain his best form.
