In a Champions League match held in the early hours of today Beijing time, Villa defeated Club Brugge 3-2 away from home to secure their first victory of the season.
It is worth noting that Villa have been in poor form at the start of the new season. They began their Premier League campaign with one draw and two defeats, failed to score in all three matches, and currently sit only 17th in the Premier League table.
