Official: Lautaro Booked for Protesting and Receives Additional €1,500 Fine

The disciplinary punishments for Serie A Matchday 3 have been announced. Lautaro was fined €1,500 for protesting and for being the team captain, while Gaetano was suspended for one match and fined €10,000.

Recently, Serie A officially announced the disciplinary decisions following the Matchday 3 matches. The only player to receive a suspension was Atalanta player Gaetano, who was sent off for protesting at the end of the match between Roma and Atalanta. He will serve a one-match suspension and receive a €10,000 fine.

Lautaro received his second yellow card of the season. The Inter Milan captain was shown a yellow card for protesting and was fined €1,500. The disciplinary announcement explained: "Because he is the team captain, the punishment was increased."

The disciplinary report also confirmed that Chivu received his first yellow card of the season. For Napoli, Rafa Marin and Vergara also received their first yellow cards of the season.
