De Zerbi Excludes Richarlison from Tottenham's Premier League Squad List

Roberto De Zerbi has removed Richarlison from Tottenham Hotspur's Premier League squad list after the Brazilian forward repeatedly requested to leave north London during the summer transfer window.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed on social media platform X that Richarlison has been completely left out of Tottenham's official 25-man Premier League registration list for the season.

Manager Roberto De Zerbi took this decisive step after revealing that the 29-year-old forward had repeatedly asked to leave.

With the domestic transfer deadline in England having passed and De Zerbi focusing on bringing in new attacking players, Richarlison has been completely removed from the first-team setup in north London.

De Zerbi publicly confirmed that the former Everton forward had clearly expressed his desire to leave. The Italian coach spoke after leaving the striker out of the matchday squad for the 0-2 defeat against Newcastle United.

"Richarlison, I don't know. He has said too many times that he wants to leave," De Zerbi revealed (as cited by ESPN).

The head coach made it clear that although he respects the player, any departure depends on an appropriate financial solution. Ultimately, with no domestic deal being completed, Richarlison was completely excluded from the Premier League squad list.

Richarlison has been linked with Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor, which is actively pushing to sign him before its regional transfer window closes.
