The 10-player shortlist for the 2026 Kopa Trophy has been announced, with Barcelona's Yamal and Cubarsi included. They are also among the leading favorites to win the Kopa Trophy. Four of the past five Kopa Trophies have gone to Barcelona players.

The Kopa Trophy has been awarded since 2018. The first two winners were Mbappe and De Ligt, and the award was not held in 2020. Among the five editions since then, four have been won by Barcelona players. This year's Kopa Trophy is also likely to go to Barcelona players Yamal or Cubarsi. Cubarsi is the winner of the World Cup Best Young Player award, while Yamal could potentially achieve three consecutive wins.
