According to Malaga club news, Aaron Ochoa underwent a partial meniscectomy and repair of a meniscocapsular separation through suturing. During the early stage of rehabilitation, he will need three weeks without bearing weight. The exact length of his absence will depend on his recovery, but this type of injury usually requires around three months.

Malaga stated that Aaron Ochoa successfully underwent surgery in Madrid on Monday afternoon, with Dr. Manuel Reyes performing the operation. Pablo Campos, head of the Malaga first-team medical department, was present during the procedure.

During the first three weeks after surgery, Aaron Ochoa will be unable to perform any weight-bearing activities, and his right knee will need to be supported with a brace. The Malaga No. 35 player had already exhausted conservative treatment options and has not played for the team since the third pre-season match on August 6. He will soon begin rehabilitation under the supervision of Malaga's medical staff.
