According to AS, Opta Analyst predicts Arsenal lead the Champions League title probability rankings with a 20.9% chance of winning, while Bayern follow closely with 19.4%.

Before the tournament began, this edition was considered one of the seasons with the largest number of title contenders in recent years. Opta Analyst used advanced data from the 36 teams participating in the league phase and used a supercomputer to simulate various possible outcomes in order to assess Champions League title probabilities, listing the 10 leading contenders for spring 2027. Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid rank lower among Europe's major clubs. As defending champions, Paris Saint-Germain have a 7.1% title probability and rank fifth; Real Madrid rank seventh, with a probability closer to Manchester United and Inter Milan than to Barcelona and Bayern.

Arsenal, coached by Mikel Arteta, were eliminated in a penalty shootout last season and now sit top of the rankings with a 20.9% title probability. Bayern rank second with 19.4%. Converted into simulations, this means Bayern win the title in roughly one out of every five simulations and Arsenal do so in roughly one out of every five, with the remaining outcomes spread among the other eight leading contenders.

The reigning champions of the Premier League and Bundesliga were both defeated last season by the same opponent, Paris Saint-Germain under Luis Enrique. Now, experience, squad balance and team maturity have placed Arsenal and Bayern near the top of the probability rankings. Based on this prediction, the next Champions League winner is likely to come from a team wearing red shirts.
