Gudmundsson: Very happy to score the winning goal, celebrating with Lazio fans was special

After Lazio defeated Udinese at home in the third round of Serie A, Lazio player Gudmundsson attended the post-match press conference and talked about his debut as well as his feelings after scoring the winning goal.
Speaking about his goal, he said: “I was very happy after scoring, not only because I scored myself, but more importantly because the team won the match. I know, as the coach said, that I can play in the position where the team needs me, and I will give everything for the team.”
Gudmundsson said the goal had special significance for him: “This goal is really very special to me, especially because it helped the team win the match. Seeing Lazio fans continue to support us and being able to celebrate with them made me very happy.”
