After the third round of Serie A concluded, a comeback storm emerged this round, with teams scoring first winning only two matches in the end, while five teams suffered reversals and three were held to draws.

After three rounds of Serie A, there has still been no 0-0 draw. In the first two rounds, teams scoring first won 19 matches, with only Udinese seeing a 1-0 lead over Como become a draw.

In the third round, Serie A produced a series of exciting and dramatic matches:

Genoa took a 1-0 lead over Como but eventually lost 1-4;

Fiorentina led Torino 1-0 but was overturned 2-1, with Che Adams scoring a late winning goal in the 82nd minute;

Napoli led Inter Milan 2-0 away from home but suffered a major comeback defeat, losing 3-2 after Lautaro scored the winner in the 91st minute;

Atalanta led Roma 1-0 away from home but was overturned 2-1, with Soulé scoring the winning goal in the 93rd minute;

Udinese led Lazio 1-0 but was overturned 2-1, with Gudmundsson scoring the winner in the 88th minute;

Milan led Juventus 1-0 away from home, and Gatti scored an equalizer in the 92nd minute.

Only two teams that scored first managed to hold on for victories. Frosinone led Venezia 2-0 but was held to a 2-2 draw, with Kvernadze scoring a near-winning goal in the 83rd minute; Cagliari took the lead through Daniel Maldini and eventually won 1-0.
