Liverpool announce Premier League squad for this season: Barcola, Victor Munoz and Araujo included

Liverpool have announced their squad list for the 2026-27 Premier League season, with new signings Barcola, Victor Munoz and Araujo included.

According to Premier League rules, each club's squad can contain a maximum of 17 players who do not meet the 'homegrown player' criteria. The total squad size can be up to 25 players, and the remaining players must be homegrown.

A 'homegrown player' refers to a player who, regardless of nationality or age, has been registered with any club affiliated with the Football Association or the Football Association of Wales for three full seasons, either consecutive or non-consecutive, or for 36 months, before their 21st birthday or before the end of the season in which they turn 21.

A club's U21 players are not included in the 25-man squad list, but they are still eligible to play in the Premier League. To be considered an U21 player in the 2026-27 season, a player must have been born on or after January 1, 2007.
