Milestone: Courtois Set to Become the Eighth Goalkeeper to Reach 100 Champions League Appearances

At 3:00 a.m. Beijing time on September 9, in the first round of the Champions League league phase, Real Madrid will host Inter, and Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois will reach the milestone of 100 Champions League appearances.
According to statistics, Courtois has made 99 Champions League appearances for Atletico Madrid, Chelsea and Real Madrid, recording 34 clean sheets.
Against Inter, Courtois will become the 56th player in Champions League history to reach 100 appearances, and the eighth goalkeeper to achieve this milestone. The previous seven goalkeepers were Iker Casillas (177 appearances), Manuel Neuer (161), Gianluigi Buffon (124), Petr Cech (111), Victor Valdes (106), Jan Oblak (106), and Oliver Kahn (103).
