Lautaro: Real Madrid are very strong, we will give everything to fight for a good result

Lautaro, thank you for taking the time to speak with TNT Mexico. First, I would like to ask how your current condition is. The new Champions League campaign is another new challenge, and the first match will be at a stadium like the Bernabeu. How special is that for you?

To be honest, I am very happy to participate in a new Champions League campaign again. Last season we were eliminated in the round of 16... sorry, we were eliminated in the playoff stage. So this year, we will try to give our best performance, go as far as possible, and take Inter to the highest position possible.

Tomorrow, we will begin our Champions League journey at such an important stadium, and our opponent is also a team of very high quality. But just as I told other journalists earlier and mentioned at the press conference, we also have our own strengths. We will try to do our best and return to Milan with a positive result.

The season has just started and your current form is good. But what kind of Inter will we see this season? Because as you just mentioned, last season you faced Bodo/Glimt, but in the previous few seasons you had also reached the Champions League final. So what are the goals and position of this Inter team this season?

In the past four years, we have reached two Champions League finals, and we have also played in one Europa League final. So I think we have done very important work in European competitions as well.

Of course, as I said before, there are many very strong opponents here. Throughout the season, there will always be some periods that have a major impact on the team. The experience against Bodo/Glimt last season affected us to some extent because our schedule was very crowded at that time.

But in the end, as I said before, all these experiences will become lessons. Now we have to focus on tomorrow's match and try to start this Champions League campaign in the best possible way.

Finally, I want to show you a photo. Not this one, but this one. This is a photo of you celebrating after the team scored the 3-2 goal against Napoli a few days ago. You were truly shouting from the heart at that moment. So I want to ask you, what does Inter mean in your life? Because your celebration came completely from the heart. It was not only for yourself, but also for your family. What does being a Nerazzurro mean to you?

Inter means a lot to me. From the first day I arrived here, I faced a new city, a new language, and a new culture, but they have always treated me in the best possible way, as if I had grown up in Inter's youth academy since I was a child.

And as I said before, Argentine players have always been treated very well at Inter. This is connected to the club's history and also to everything represented by our vice-president Zanetti. Therefore, I will always try to do my best throughout my career. I was the same when I was at Racing. I will give my greatest effort for the club and the fans, do my job as well as possible, and bring them happiness.
