According to fcinews, if Mbappé scores against Inter Milan, he will equal Raúl’s Champions League scoring record.
After missing a penalty against Real Betis, Mbappé hopes to quickly regain his form while setting his sights on Raúl. Opta noted that if Mbappé can score against Inter Milan, he will reach 71 goals to equal Raúl and move level for fifth place on the Champions League all-time scoring list. Mbappé has made 98 Champions League appearances and scored 70 goals, including 22 goals in 25 appearances for Real Madrid.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Mbappé said: “Inter Milan are an opponent that deserves great respect, and they are a very strong team. When I saw the draw results, I immediately thought of Marcus Thuram, because we are good friends.”
