Jamie Redknapp said on a program that Brentford signing Mamadou Sangare from Lens for £40 million is the best Premier League recruitment move of the summer.

"I think the best piece of transfer business was Brentford signing Sangare."
"Sangare will become an excellent signing for Brentford. In a few years, his value could perhaps reach £120 million. He will establish himself at Brentford and develop into a top player."

"There is also Haji Diouf. Brentford's transfer operations have been really impressive; they complete deals early and never drag things out."
When asked whether Sangare was the best signing of the summer, Redknapp could only think of another contender. He said: "For me, yes. Also, Damian Martinez's transfer was very smart."
"If Chelsea had kept their original goalkeeper, nobody would really have expected them to be competitive this season. I'm not saying that goalkeeper cannot have an outstanding career in the future, but it may just not be at Chelsea."
"But Damian Martinez has great experience and top-level ability, and his arrival gives Chelsea a great opportunity. Previously everyone questioned Chelsea: 'Are their goalkeepers strong enough?' Now the answer is clear, he is fully capable of doing the job."
