Tedesco: Apologized for the red card, Dovbyk and Piccoli could still partner in the future

Bologna head coach Tedesco was interviewed by DAZN after the team's home draw with Sassuolo.

Speaking to DAZN about the incident that led to his sending-off, Tedesco said: "I apologize. Speaking about the team's attitude, the Bologna coach said: "We allowed the opponents to launch too many counterattacks, so in the end we have to be satisfied with taking this point. The course of the match was decided by the players."

"We were short on players today" — discussing the decision to start Dovbyk and Piccoli together, Tedesco said: "We were short on players today and could not use depth in our attacking play, so I chose to put Piccoli and Dovbyk on together.
