Al Ahli Club officially announced that they have signed 19-year-old French midfielder Ibrahima Diaby from Belgian side Cercle Brugge, with the two parties signing a four-year contract. The young player, who came through the Paris Saint-Germain academy, will continue his professional career wearing the Al Ahli jersey.

Diaby was born in 2007 and is currently 19 years old. He previously developed within the Paris Saint-Germain youth system. During his time with PSG's various youth teams, he served as captain of multiple squads, demonstrating leadership qualities and technical potential.
Diaby plays as a defensive midfielder. He later moved to Belgian club Cercle Brugge, where he continued his career and successfully broke into the first-team squad. Al Ahli welcomed Diaby's arrival and wished him success at the club, hoping he can provide help to the team on the sporting side.
Speaking about the move, Diaby said that being able to wear the Al Ahli jersey is an important step in his career. He also said he looks forward to giving his best, working together with his teammates, and fulfilling the expectations of the fans of the "biggest club in Asia."
According to previous reports from Saudi media, the transfer fee for the deal was €13.5 million.
