According to reports, 35-year-old former Liverpool player Georginio Wijnaldum is set to join Saudi Pro League giants Al-Ittihad on a free transfer.
Reports state that Wijnaldum is about to sign a 1+1 contract with Al-Ittihad, and he is undergoing a medical examination with the club.
Wijnaldum is 35 years old and spent the peak period of his career at Liverpool. He has also played for European clubs including Newcastle United, Paris Saint-Germain, and Roma. In September 2023, Wijnaldum joined Al-Ettifaq, and he became a free agent during this summer transfer window.
