Italian media: Mancini will add 5 to 6 young players to Italy's Nations League squad

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Mancini will add 5 to 6 young players to the Italy national team's Nations League squad.

It has been less than two weeks since Mancini's first call-up after beginning his second spell as Italy national team coach. At present, he has already drawn up a preliminary list of around 60 players and informed the relevant players in advance. On Friday the 18th Beijing time, Mancini will reduce the list to 30 to 35 players and officially announce the squad for four Nations League matches. Italy will face Belgium, France, and play Turkey twice.

Mancini previously watched Roma's match against Atalanta on site. Roma defender Mancini and Atalanta defender Scalvini are almost certain to be selected, while Raspadori is also close to securing a place. Scamacca, Cristante, Gaetano and Pisilli are expected to receive call-ups, but Pisilli could also remain with Italy U21. In addition, Bernasconi is expected to become an option for the left side.
