Official: Catherine Commisso Appointed Vice President of Fiorentina

Serie A club Fiorentina officially announced the appointment of Catherine Commisso as the club's vice president.

Fiorentina Club announced the appointment of Catherine Commisso as the club's vice president.

After taking on the role of vice president, she will bring continuity and a forward-looking perspective to the club's leadership.

The appointment also carries special significance, as Catherine will be deeply involved in continuing Rocco's legacy and the values he established together with Fiorentina, while advancing the development of the Viola Park project named after Rocco B. Commisso into new club initiatives and growth.

"I feel deeply honored to accept this new role and continue the work that began together with Rocco. I will take on this responsibility with great humility, inspired by everything my late husband hoped to dedicate to Fiorentina.

During our 50 years of marriage, I was fortunate to be by his side and understood how important sports and football were to him. But what truly drove him forward in his professional journey was his determination, dedication and sense of collaboration. He always devoted his energy to others, listened to people, and put their needs first.

I hope to continue fulfilling my responsibilities in his name, dedicating much of my effort to future generations. While working with Giuseppe and our management team, Rocco's example will continue to guide my judgment and vision.

We will promote Fiorentina's growth in every aspect, and I hope to honor his legacy by remaining faithful to the values he established and contributing to the club's future."
