McManaman Predicts Premier League Top Four as Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea

McManaman said on the Seven program that Arsenal remain the strongest team in the Premier League and predicted that they will lead this season's Premier League top four, while Manchester United will miss out on the top four.

McManaman believes Arsenal already showed strong quality last season, and after signing Bruno Guimaraes, Tzolis and Konsa this summer, the squad has been further strengthened. Discussing Arsenal's prospects of defending their title, he said: "Clearly, the standout team in this league is Arsenal. I think their signings this summer have been excellent. If I consider everything together, then Arsenal are obviously the team that needs to be beaten."

McManaman also favors Chelsea, believing that Xabi Alonso is an excellent manager, Chelsea have a deep squad, and the fact that they play only one match per week will also provide help. He predicted the Premier League top four rankings as Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea, and said: "I don't think Manchester United can get close to the top four."
