Dortmund Official: Guirassy Scores 62 Goals in 99 Matches, Equals Dicker's 40 Bundesliga Goals

According to Dortmund's official report, Guirassy is about to make his 100th competitive appearance for Dortmund. He has scored 62 goals in his previous 99 matches, and his Bundesliga goal tally has also drawn level with Dicker.

The 30-year-old striker has played for Borussia Dortmund for two years and has scored two goals in the first two matches of this season. The only players who have scored more competitive goals for Dortmund than him are Haaland and Lothar Emmerich.

Haaland scored 86 goals in 89 competitive appearances for Dortmund. Lothar Emmerich scored 64 goals in his first 100 Bundesliga matches for Dortmund. Guirassy has now scored 40 Bundesliga goals for Dortmund, level with Norbert Dicker. The difference is that Guirassy reached the mark in 65 matches, while Dicker needed 90 games.

In Dortmund's 3-2 away win over Hoffenheim, Guirassy was involved in six of Dortmund's eight shots. In the 61st minute, he scored to pull one goal back, and five minutes later he assisted Fabio Silva's goal to make the score 2-2. Including this match, Guirassy has scored one goal in each of his last five away appearances against Hoffenheim.
