Agent Damiani: Baccin Ready to Succeed Inter Director Ausilio, Won’t Make People Miss Him

Well-known agent Oscar Damiani said in an interview with Tuttomercatoweb that Baccin is ready to take over as Inter Milan sporting director and will not make people miss Ausilio.

“Ausilio wrote history with Inter Milan, and like every story, this chapter has come to an end. He is an excellent executive, and he will find another club willing to give him an opportunity.” Damiani said when discussing Ausilio’s departure from Inter.

Ausilio’s position will be taken over by Dario Baccin.

Damiani said: “He grew together with Ausilio and Marotta, and he is already ready to become Inter Milan’s sporting director. He has his own experience and will do his best not to make people miss Ausilio.”

Regarding Inter’s performance in this transfer window, Damiani said: “We will only be able to see clearly as the season progresses. They made some good moves, but the results will depend on their future performances.”

Regarding whether Inter under coach Chivu are title favorites, Damiani said: “Napoli and Juventus are strong contenders, and AC Milan are also among them. But Inter Milan are certainly favorites.”
