Romano: Chelsea ultimately decided to sell Enzo because the player no longer wanted to take part in team training

On September 5 Beijing time, well-known reporter Romano updated a video on his personal channel discussing Enzo's move to Manchester City. He said that Enzo was unwilling to train during his final days at Chelsea.

Romano said: "Manchester City have always been very interested in Enzo. Before the FIFA World Cup in Canada, Mexico and the United States, Manchester City were already trying to sign Enzo and were working to establish contact with his agent, but during the World Cup Enzo only wanted to focus on Argentina, so the matter was temporarily put on hold."

However, at that time Chelsea really did not want to sell Enzo. They tried every possible way to keep him, and even when facing a high offer of £120 million, they still did not want to sell. But when Chelsea realized that Enzo no longer wanted to participate in training, the turning point in the deal arrived."
