Girona Coach: It Will Be a Difficult Year, but It Will Have a Good Ending

According to El Periodico de Catalunya, Girona coach Quique Alvarez said before the match against Sporting Gijon that Sporting have a balanced squad, featuring both experienced players and young talents, with great speed in attack. He also praised the solidity of the team managed by Nicolas Larcamon and stressed the importance of playing the match at El Molinon Stadium.

"It is one of the most beautiful stadiums in the Segunda Division because it supports the home team and puts pressure on opponents," Alvarez said. Speaking about his own team, Alvarez admitted that operations were difficult until the transfer window closed because the club had many matters being handled at the same time. He was also pleased that "everyone can now focus."
