According to L'Équipe, Monaco did not include United States forward Folarin Balogun in their Conference League league-phase squad, and he could still leave after his failed move to Everton.

This is another consequence brought by Monaco's frantic transfer window closing phase. Lamine Camara's transfer to Chelsea and Balogun's move to Everton both collapsed before the English transfer window closed on Tuesday night, and Balogun therefore missed out on Monaco's Conference League squad.

Monaco general manager Thiago Scuro said at a press conference on Wednesday that in transfer markets that remain open, players can still leave, including markets such as Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Russia. Balogun remains one of the potential departures, and Monaco need to significantly reduce spending this summer.
