To all Liverpool fans:

I never planned to write this farewell letter, because Liverpool was always the place where I dreamed of playing.

The love you have given me during my five years at Liverpool is something I will never forget. It is not difficult to show affection during good times, but you also know that my journey was not always smooth, and no matter what circumstances I faced, you always stood behind me.

I fought against injuries and countless difficulties time and time again. I always wanted to repay the great affection and trust you gave me, but unfortunately, I ultimately failed to do so.

Sometimes life requires making changes. For myself and for my family, I believe it is time to begin a new chapter. The memories I leave here will stay with me for life, and in the future I can proudly tell my children that I once played for the greatest club in England. We can never know what might have happened if everything had gone perfectly, but my years at Liverpool transformed me, both as a player and as an ordinary person. From arriving here at the age of 16 to today, I have changed completely. I once lived with a local Liverpool family, and they helped me truly understand how special this city and its people are. I can proudly say that I will always carry a mark of this place with me.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything you have done. My family and I will always be Liverpool people.

To all my teammates: from the U16, U18, and U21 squads to my first-team teammates, you have given me tremendous help over the years, and many of you have become lifelong friends. It has been an honor to fight alongside you, and I have always learned and grown while playing with you. Thank you for all your support.

Thank you to all the coaching staff and employees I have worked with over the years. Every one of you has greatly contributed to my progress.

This club is like a huge family. This glory would not be possible without every behind-the-scenes worker: chefs, kitchen staff, player care teams, grounds staff, media department, kit managers, and the hundreds of other roles across the club. Everyone makes players' lives smoother and helps build the greatness of this club. I will miss everyone immensely.

I also want to thank the physiotherapists, doctors, and the entire medical department. Words cannot fully express my gratitude. Unfortunately, I spent many days fighting injuries alongside you, experiencing countless ups and downs together, but you always gave everything for me, and I will remember this kindness forever.

This club will always have a place in my heart.

Once a Red, always a Red. (End of social media post)

Bajcetic joined Liverpool from Celta in January 2021. Between 2022 and 2024, he made 22 appearances for Liverpool and scored one goal. Last season, he was loaned to Las Palmas, where he made 14 appearances, started 12 times, and scored one goal.

On September 1, Liverpool officially announced that Bajcetic had permanently transferred back to Celta.
