Sept. 11 — According to U.S. media outlet ClutchPoints, former NBA player Danilo Gallinari recently spoke in an interview with HoopsHype reporter Cyro Asseo about his career and his experience after leaving the Knicks at the time.
When asked whether he had ever thought about how his career might have been different if he had not left New York in the Carmelo Anthony trade, Gallinari said he occasionally discusses the matter with his family, friends, and acquaintances in New York.
Gallinari said: "Because of injuries, there have been many 'ifs' in my career. I don't know, maybe I am one of the biggest 'what ifs' in basketball history. But that is part of an NBA career. Unfortunately, injuries happened to me more often than to many players, but I don't think about these things very often."
