Beijing Men's Basketball Team Wins 2026 CBA Summer League Qingdao Station Championship

On September 6, the final of the 2026 CBA Summer League Qingdao Station came to an end, with Beijing Shougang men's basketball team defeating Qingdao men's basketball team 83-78 to claim the tournament championship with a perfect record.

In this Summer League event, Beijing men's basketball team defeated Shandong, Fujian, and Liaoning teams respectively in the group stage, then beat Shanxi men's basketball team in the semifinals to reach the final. In the final, Beijing started Raymond, Tarik, Zhang Zhiyao, Zhang Penghui, and Sun Yahui. Beijing quickly found its rhythm after the opening, with smooth offensive and defensive rotations, taking a 25-12 lead after the first quarter. Qingdao then relied on inside play and outside shooting to fight back, but Beijing led 47-39 at halftime.

The two teams battled closely in the second half. Beijing maintained its intensity through player rotations and continued to hold the advantage. Qingdao kept cutting the deficit in the fourth quarter, but Beijing held on to secure the win and captured the championship by a five-point margin.

According to the statistics, Beijing's Lü Tianfu scored 15 points on 7-of-8 shooting, Sun Yahui recorded 15 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists, Zhang Zhiyao contributed 12 points, 3 assists and 2 steals, and Zhai Xiaochuan added 10 points and 8 rebounds.
