Beijing Shougang Defeat Qingdao 83-78 to Win CBA Summer League Qingdao Championship

In the CBA Summer League final held on the evening of September 6 Beijing time, Beijing Shougang faced Qingdao Men's Basketball Team. After an intense contest, Beijing Shougang eventually won 83-78 to successfully claim the championship.

At the beginning of the third quarter, Qingdao went on a 4-2 run and cut the deficit back to six points. After a period of intense play, Qingdao stayed close at 47-53 midway through the quarter. However, Beijing Shougang once again showed strong offensive firepower, scoring six straight points to extend the gap to 12 points. At the end of the third quarter, Beijing Shougang remained in control with a 61-51 lead.

In the final quarter, Lü Tianfu first scored off the backboard, Wang Ruizhe followed with a floater, and Lü Tianfu scored again in the paint, helping Beijing Shougang hold a 70-60 advantage midway through the quarter. With two and a half minutes remaining, Qingdao fought back and narrowed the score to 68-72. Afterwards, Ji Zhuo hit a three-pointer, Zhang Penghui made a jump shot, and Zhai Xiaochuan scored on a layup. Beijing Shougang's Lü Junhu then completed a 2+1 play at a crucial moment, effectively slowing Qingdao's momentum.
