Shandong Beats Shanxi 86-80 to Claim Third Place at CBA Summer League Qingdao Station

In the third-place game of the CBA Summer League Qingdao Station held on the afternoon of September 6 Beijing time, Shandong faced Shanxi in a fierce matchup. After a hard-fought battle, Shandong ultimately defeated their opponents 86-80 to claim third place.

At the start of the game, Shanxi quickly found their rhythm and took the lead. Shandong stayed close, and Wang Zheng's three-pointer helped them complete the comeback, making the score 11-10. Chen Linjian then scored with a layup, followed by Chen Pengyudi making three free throws after drawing a foul, while Zhu Mingzhen and Wang Lanqin hit consecutive three-pointers, gradually shifting momentum toward Shandong. Ge Zhaobao also showed his ability by completing a 2+1 play. Afterwards, Zhu Mingzhen and Qin Zilong scored in succession, while Zhao Haoran and Xie Zhijie's layups further strengthened Shandong's advantage. At the end of the first quarter, Shandong led 29-22.

In the second quarter, the two teams remained locked in a close contest. Shandong's three-point shooting continued to be strong, and they extended their lead to 39-30 midway through the quarter. In the end, Shandong defeated Shanxi 86-80 and took third place.
