On September 6 Beijing time, in the CBA Summer League Qingdao Station final, Beijing defeated Qingdao 83-78 in a narrow win without Zhao Rui, with five players scoring in double figures. Beijing successfully won the title with a perfect 5-0 record.

With Zhou Qi, Zeng Fanbo and Chen Yingjun unavailable, and Zhao Rui resting and missing the final, Beijing fielded a lineup mainly featuring young players. Led by Zhai Xiaochuan and Raymond, the team focused on developing young players such as Sun Yahui and Zhang Zhiyao, finishing the tournament undefeated to win the title.
Beijing built a 25-12 lead after the first quarter. They were outscored 22-27 in the second quarter as Qingdao cut five points from the deficit, and Beijing led 47-39 at halftime. After the break, Beijing won the third quarter 14-12 by two points, before being outscored 22-27 in the final quarter. Beijing eventually defeated Qingdao 83-78 to claim the Qingdao Station championship with a 5-0 record.

In the game, five Beijing players scored in double figures: Sun Yahui had 15 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists; Zhang Zhiyao recorded 12 points, 3 assists and 2 steals; Zhai Xiaochuan contributed 10 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists; Raymond had 7 points, 3 rebounds and 1 assist; and Zhang Penghui scored 7 points with 1 rebound and 3 assists.
Qingdao had six players score in double figures: Wang Yibo had 17 points and 1 assist; Ji Zhuo had 13 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist; Duan Angjun had 13 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals; Lü Junhu recorded 10 points, 11 rebounds and 2 steals; Wang Ruizhe had 10 points, 6 rebounds and 1 assist; and Zhang Yang had 10 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists.
