It would be great to see him increase the frequency of these attempts. Last season, he took 106 step-back jump shots in total, with an effective field goal percentage of 57.1%.
During his step-back motion, he does an excellent job of keeping his center of gravity stable and maintaining balance, especially from the mid-range area, making it difficult for opponents to disrupt the shot.
Cunningham's step-back is a highly effective weapon.
