The captain of Shandong men's basketball team for the new season has been confirmed, with interior player Guo Kai set to take over the captain's armband. According to media personality "Director Wo Tang Na," the team's new captain is Guo Kai, while the previous captain was Gao Shiyan.
Guo Kai joined Shandong men's basketball team in the 2024-25 season and has now played for the team for two seasons. From joining the team to becoming captain, his role within the squad has undergone a significant change.
Gao Shiyan previously served as the team's captain, and this responsibility will now be transferred to Guo Kai. The leadership structure in Shandong's locker room will also be adjusted for the new season.
