HoopsHype Interview with Gallinari: Biggest Career Mistake Was Not Signing with Clippers Late in Career

Sept. 9 — Today, Danilo Gallinari spoke in an interview with HoopsHype. Looking back on his career, he said one of his biggest regrets was not choosing to join the Los Angeles Clippers late in his career. At the time, he had the opportunity to sign a two-year contract with the Clippers, but he ultimately chose a one-year deal to join the Milwaukee Bucks.

Gallinari said: "I originally had the opportunity to sign with the Clippers for two years, but I chose a one-year deal with the Bucks. Looking back now, this might have been the biggest mistake I have made." He said that whether considering the contract or the team environment, this was the decision he would most want to make differently.

Late in his career, Gallinari played for the Wizards, Pistons, and Bucks. He admitted that period was not ideal, and missing out on the Clippers' two-year contract became one of the clearest career regrets he has mentioned.
